INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

(a) Clean the oil cooler contact surface on the cooler mounting.

(b) Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the oil cooler.

(c) Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the head of the union bolt.

(d) Install the oil cooler with the plate washer and union bolt.

Torque: 69 N·m (704 kgf·cm, 51 ft·lbf)

HINT:

Fit the fork part of the oil cooler onto the rib of the oil cooler bracket.

(e) Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses to the oil cooler.

2. INSTALL OIL FILTER ASSEMBLY 2UZ-FE LUBRICATION: OIL AND OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT (2008 Sequoia)+

3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 2UZ-FE COOLING: COOLANT: REPLACEMENT (2008 Sequoia)+

4. ADD ENGINE OIL 2UZ-FE LUBRICATION: OIL AND OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT (2008 Sequoia)+

5. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK 2UZ-FE LUBRICATION: OIL AND OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT (2008 Sequoia)+

6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 2UZ-FE COOLING: COOLING SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION (2008 Sequoia)+

7. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL 2UZ-FE LUBRICATION: LUBRICATION SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION (2008 Sequoia)+

8. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 2UZ-FE LUBRICATION: OIL AND OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT (2008 Sequoia)+
